Shipping policy

We endeavour to ship items that are in stock on the next working day where we can and pride ourselves on our speedy service, but this is not always possible when high volumes of orders are received.

We are bound by Royal Mail or other courier  shipping services though, so no delivery  timescale can be guaranteed despite the service selected. The exception to this is Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm next working day.  If you require your item urgently please message or call us. 

Orders processed before 1pm via tracked 24 service will be sent out the same day (unless personalisation is required. These will be the next working day). 

Orders placed at the weekend on a Saturday or Sunday will not be shipped until Monday for tracked 24 services and Tuesday for tracked 48.

Items  being hand-crafted or personalised can take 2-3 days turnaround, although we endeavour where we can to turnaround the same or next working day.

Friday Orders submitted after 1pm will be shipped on Monday for Tracked 24 and Tuesday for tracked 48


 

About Us

Stork in the City was born in 2013, the brainchild of Arlene, Head of Flock at Stork and a real-life superhero in her own right. Juggling the roles of a Senior Police Officer, Single Mum, and Charity Fundraiser, Arlene discovered her magical knack for sniffing out the perfect baby present for her colleagues. They were always left in awe of her uncanny ability to unravel the mystery of the ideal gift, and the word spread like baby powder in the wind, making her the go to gift-getter.

But, our beloved Arlene was facing a dilemma as vast as a diaper bag's abyss—she couldn't find unique, personalised, and coordinated gifts that sparkled with the magic only a stork could deliver. Fueled by frustration and a determination to "change the present," Arlene embarked on a quest to create a haven for all things cute, cuddly and customised, and thus, Stork in the City was hatched into existence!

In 2021 Arlene decided to weave her magic further, catering for babies, toddlers and infants by offering in-house personalised embroidery and print services for every season and every occasion

Magic is woven into each stitch and print. With heart and soul, she creates bespoke treasures for the tiniest members of our flock, ensuring every gift is cherished forever.

Love is wrapped in onesies, laughter sewn into blankets, and memories embroidered on every tiny sleeve. 🌟
